Location

The lodge is easily accessible by either vehicle or helicopter. Conveniently located on the shores of Lake Pukaki in the heart of the Mackenzie Basin, Lakestone Lodge is nestled on the hill above the Tekapo - Twizel Road (State Highway 8). On the main road between Christchurch and Queenstown it is easily accessible yet remains a quiet resting place on your travels. You can relax in a tranquil rural setting that is less than a 30 minute drive to Lake Tekapo or a 45 minute drive from Mount Cook, making it a perfect base to explore the region.
